In a most propitious timing, Open Window Theatre hosted Argentinean tango singer Claudia Pannone for a two-night performance at their venue in the Metropolitan Minneapolis Building.

Claudia Pannone brought alive the sensuous and melancholy music of lyric tango with her deep, expressive voice and infused the January evening with the warmth and passion of Argentinean music. Pannone is a successful singer in Buenos Aires, the city that cherishes tango, where she sings in some of the best tango houses. She was accompanied by the excellent piano-playing of Jerrod Wendland. The evening also featured tango performances by Florencia Taccetti and dancers.

We hope that organizers Enrique and Nes Rotstein will bring the delightful singer and the magic of tango back to Minneapolis.
